Wish you all a happy and prosperous Vishu.
Vishu has always been one of my favorite festivals from childhood for you get to see "Vishu Kanni(is shown below)" when you get up, you receive "Vishu Kettam," which is the most creamy part(i.e you get money from your elders in the family), you wear new clothes and do whatever masti you want for your dad and mom won't scold you this day. This is for the first time I'm away from my family for Vishu. So I decided to celebrate it in a different manner. Got up only after receving 'happy vishu message' from my lachu chechi( my sister) at 6:20 but there was no one to give me "Vishu Kettam". Planned to go to temple with my roommate, but ended up in a hotel as we both were very hungry. Then went around the city and then we went to my roomate's relative's home had our lunch there and came back. This was my Vishu day for this year.
